Entrepreneurs & Professionals
It is a great challenge for many Christians to understand that God can use them regardless of how they earn their living. The key is our attitude, not our profession.
Early Christianity grew powerfully because Jesus’ followers understood they were all part of God’s great plan. Most of the people who spread the Gospel to different parts of the world were simple craftsmen and small business owners.
Paul’s work as a tent-maker is a biblical example of the dedication of business owners and professionals to missionary work. Also, few know that Moravian movement already applied concepts used by modern Business for Transformation to their early missionary efforts in the 1700’s.
Pastor Arto Sädeaho came up with an idea of using entrepreneurship as a tool for missions during his years on mission field. He continues to share these ideas when visiting churches and taking part in business seminars all over the world. (Photo: Business seminar in Southeastern Asia 2010)
